THE MASTER PLAN DESIGN PROCESS
East Bay Landscape requires information regarding dimensions of your yard or project-site. HOA and CC&R restrictions should be communicated from the homeowner to the designer throughout the designing process; this will help in making key decisions so that the master plan is exactly what the homeowner desires and is within HOA and city-code guidelines. Homeowners will have two opportunities to change or make revisions to their design; this includes a detailed breakdown with quantities and pricing.
It is always good to know where your budget lies before landscaping your property. This is highly important and helpful in the design process. We recommend that the landscape budget should be between 5% - 10% of the value of the home. While hard-scape items (like concrete, barbeques and fire-pits) comprise a major part of the landscape expense, using and installing the proper materials correctly is extremely important to the long-term value and quality of your yard.
Some of the design packages offered are as follows: Tropical, English Garden, Japanese Zen, Mediterranean, Tuscan and Old World.
UPON COMPLETION OF MASTER PLAN
Once the Master Plan is completed and signed-off by the homeowner, we provide them with a bar-chart, time-line, and a booking start-time. We also provide the homeowner with a “will not exceed” pricing agreemen, which means there will be no additional changes or charges without your authorization or written approval (i.e. change order).
